Hi
Does anyone have an operations/maintenance manual for a ThermoKing CF2 M14A with a Thermoking uP controller.
We have recently aquired this unit and although it it an old man it still works but we have no way of knowing how to set it up for defrost times etc

I don't believe you can change the factory defrost times on the M14.

Your stuck with the 6 hrs initial, every 4 hrs after.

Since found out that the two eproms have been upgraded to M19's. is there any significance to this?

Defrost wise, you gain 'Demand Defrost'. Where evap and return temps can initiate a defrost cycle along with the 6-4 timed cycles.

Check your PMs.

All checks ok, but unit keeps tripping on code 09 fault which on this unit states controller out of calibration and also code 12 which states defrost time limit error.
Total head scratcher.
Any ideas?

Actually, if your running M19 chips, the M14 codes on the door sticker won't jive.
