Hi Guys, Just new in this forum I just want to ask all the expert in Hanbell Screw Compressor. I have a new 3 chillers with 2 hanbell screw compressor each. All the compressor is not loading to 100% even the 4 steps of loading is reach. The chiller refrigerant is 134-a the amp draw up to 53% only. All the controller, design water flow rate, pressure drop across the evaporator and condenser, sequence of loading and the compressor parameters are normal (subcooling, superheat and split temp. accros the evap. and condenser).

Thank you very much

God Bless

Hi Denjosh
You said the 4 steps of loading have been reached. On the 4 step RC12 -RC24 compressor there should be 3 solenoids. As the solenoids de-energise in sequence the compressor should load up.
If SV1 is energised the compressor will be at 25%, if SV1 is de-energised and SV3 is energised it will be at 50%, when SV2 is energised and SV3 is de-energised it will be at 75% and when all solenoids are de-energised it will be at 100%.
Check to make sure teh sequence is correct.
Hope this helps, let us know how you go.
Paul
