hey,
I want to use one condenser (5 ton) with two evaps (2 and 3 tons). House is a 3600 sqft trilevel. This is my mother in laws house and she already has the evaps installed on top of her furnace...they have never been used...still sealed. Anyway, I can get her two condenser units but would like to do just one.
Anyone have any experience on dual evaps like this????

The heat exchangers are about 30 feet apart. I figure setup would be evaps in series with orifice inline with first evap.....

Wadduyathink?? Never seen this before.

I would set it up in parallel with separate, properly dimensioned, TXV for each evaporator.
