When calculating a refrigeration heat load,is the product load final temp same with the required room temp?
Ex:Blast Freezer Room
Required Temp:-40C
Product Load :Meat Product
Do we compute the
specific heat of product load base on the required temp?
Any feedback from our refrigeration expert.:D

If you were working out the product load for a blast freezer and you are taking the meat from chilled/warm to frozen you would need to factor in the specific heat load of the product for latent load. The amount of heat removal to change the state of a product is far higher than that for reducing its' temperature when it is above or below its' freezing point.

if you are in doubt consult some one who knows!

you have to calculate;

*on what temperature you bring the goods in.
*howmany kilo or ton you bring in.
*howlong are the doors open, and do they have plastic flaps .
*do you bring the goods in manual or whit forklift.
*howmany men/women are inside ore moving in and out.
* wat is the outdoortemperatuur wile you bring the goods in.
*is the freezer situated indoors or outdoors.
*is there floor isolation or not.
* how thick are the walls.
*wat kind of lights are used. and howmany.
then you can start whit some calculations, and maby there gone be some more questions on how big do i calculate the evaporator(s),and wat is the best place to mount.

good luck,

O forgot,
if you take the final room temp for the final goods temp, your wrong.
there always have to be a higher room temp needed to end up whit final goods temp.
