Is that the Mnet interface program for moniotring all operating data ( temperature sensors, pressure sensors, comp & fan speed ect )
using CMS-MNF interface ?

or are you using MJ310e / TG2000 for system central control connected to G50 central controls / IFU & gateways to switch indoor units on/off , set temp & fan speed ect ?

SQL server error sounds more like central control softwear problem.
If you are trying to upgrade to later version you might need some specialist technical support from Mitsubishi as there can be some compatability issues between the new softwear & the old data files.

yes the cms-mnf interface, mitsubishi localy has tryed to install it but as the guy has said to me there engineers not computer wizz's, also following the instructions carefully still have not managed to get it to go, has been over a year now to get the newer tool up and running but wasnt to much of a deal as we still had the older laptop with the older software on it witch worked fine untill it's hard drive died later this year ,

ive spent the last few nights trying to get it to go and have come to the conclusion it is something to do with microsoft sql server witch the service tool uses, i can get the older version to work now but the newer version witch supports our latest interface does not work , was wondering if there is an even newer version available, when i get some time tonight i will put up the errors's etc. thanks

In Europe Mitsubishi give the latest version to there own engineers & contractors are always 2 or 3 versions behind the latest version.
Mitsubishi are constantly impoving & upgrading the monitor tool.
But contractors only get a simplified version with limited data & fuctions.
Normally if you already have the program loaded & running then a later version loads & works with no problem.
So it could be a problem with your lap top.
Make sure no other program is using the SQL server.
Did you try to load the program on to another computer ?
If it works with another computer then you might have to wipe the hard drive & reformat. Then start again.

oh yes have tryed it on 3 other laptops at our office and still have problems but loaded it onto a desktop pc no problem ?

wondering what the latest version is ver 4.3 is the latest here but has been about a year since we have had it.

would be keen to try a remote admin or something to anyone who thinks they could fix it. formatting is the last step but it is looking like that is the way to go, slight pain in the bum tho as lots of service manuals and maps + software on them ,

Mitsubishi is up to Maintenance Tool version 4.32 now. This version will work with either the CMS-MNF-B or the new CMS-MNG-E converter. You can request a copy of Maintenance Tool on CD from the service department or they can walk you through how to download version 4.32 from their FTP site if you need it quickly.

Regarding your problem running version 4.30, there are many things that can cause the "MSSQLOLEDB" error. The most common is virus protection software that is preventing the link from being made between Maintenance Tool and MSSQL during the installation process. Other things that can cause this are: MSSQL not running in the background, attempting to install on a PC that doesn't meet the minimum requirements (see attached) and firewall settings preventing the software from installing properly.

Contact the Mitsubishi Service department at 877-391-5550 and they will help you get the software installed and running on your PC.

I'm new to this forum. Sorry to post something so trivial, but most may not know.

Maintenance tool will not operate on a 64 bit computer.

This was learned after the purchase of several thousands $$$ on laptops.

Mitsubishi engineers didn't even know this.

It will work on a 64 bit computer if you dual boot to a 32 bit operating system.

hi new to this forum, just wondering would anyone have a break down on the mitsubishi tool, condenser unit monitor page or a manual, know most of the (TH) thermistors but it would be nice to know what they all match up to, they must be some breakdown of what each represents! thanks

:)I had the same problem. Couldn't get the software to run. With a computer wiz kid we found the following:
Run 'Srvices.msc' from the Start/run window. Scroll down the programs listed and check that the sql server loaded and running is the SQL Server(MNTOOL) version, and that it is in 'local mode' We found it to be in 'networkin' mode. Changed it, reloaded the mnet software, and, voila, it works. Try it. Let me know.
