Manitowoc Ice Machine

Hi, My Manitonoc (i think its an s-600 modle) Wont stop making it just falls out of the huge bin it in all over the floor what should i check for ?? :confused:

The way a Manitowoc stops ice production is when the water curtain stands open assuming this is a cuber. There is a magnet at the bottom of the water curtain that breaks signal and stops the machine.

Make sure your machine is clean FIRST. Make sure your water curtain is not broken or that the magnet does not stay attached to the freeze plate for what ever reason. Location is lower right corner of water curtain.

if you're getting ice escaping out the front door, it's not an ice machine problem, it's most likely a bin, or bin baffle problem. What kind of bin (make/model) do you have under that cuber head?

OK here it goes, the cheap way is to install a thermostat in series with the contactor's coil. Attach the probe on the back inside wall of the bin at your desired level (full, 7/8). How about that buddy? Baffle=$90 T-stat=$40
