Hi, whats the best monobloc for a walk in fridge or freezer to use.

And wheres the best place to buy ?

HRP etc dont sell them ( but are looking into them )

We get called out to many makes with faults, Yes we can buy direct from Porkka, etc, but feel they are not the best prices available for what they are ( gloryfied thru the wall units ) ;)

Any input would be much appreciated.

Zanotti, Technobloc,...
Both have here a not so bad reputation.

Then there is EFC from Spain, Rivacold in Italy. We had used EFC. Zanotti , Technoblock & find that they work very well. However since we are using now EFC for last 15 years I would definteily say that you go for them.

Just like a window A/C or a roof top A/C, only it is geared for refrigeration instead of A/C.

So instead of window air conditioner, we can say monoblock air conditioner!

Monoblock, gotcha!

We just call them "packaged refrigeration systems" I sell quite a few Heatcraft models.

Thanks

I've seen the US version from HRP at a tradeshow last year in the US. They're called Pro3 top or side mount.

HRP Europe's model is called the Euromon. Go search for frigabohn and euromon - and you should find it.

You might want to try Rivacold, they are direct competition to Zannotti and I happen to know have a UK depot in Gloucestershire containing approx 60 monoblocks Tel 01684 878035

Hi it is the whole refrigeration unit in one to fit through the coldroom wallAhh, so it's a drop in, or slide in (depending in whether it's throug the ceiling or wall). I've never heard the term monoblock either.
I haven't seen any wall mounts, all the ones I've seen were through the ceiling, so everyone called that type of unit a 'drop in'
