Too many messages?

i have one message in my private messages... and i have not created any folders... so where are these "11" messages in my folders?

i also deleted all read recipt's... when i found the button lol... but too many messages in my folders is still flashing.

Web ram, it is for me not a problem at all.

I am far happy if I can read this forum and post something. I don't really expect that your server acts as a mail server for me. That is not the meaning of this site.

I deleted the 1 private message i had in my inbox and it stopped the flashing too many msg's thing. what is it refering to when it said i had "11 total messages in my folders?" does it save a copy of private msg's sent too?

do you think an email link would be benificial if added below our avatar details? for those who have ticked the option to display email of course... rather then going to "profile, email user"?.

yes, it keeps a copy of messages sent. (I deleted yours)

No, if I leave emails open it allows spiders to grab emails then you end up with lots of spam.

Using the forum programme stops that.

well thats a nice thought, but having had my email for 6 years i get plenty of spam already so whats another 20 emails a day?

but i get your point... perhaps a link to the email page short cutting "profile, email user"?.

once again I have to point out how fiendish web spiders are at finding emails and once they have them you will get inundated.

If your email was out there on the forum programme you would be flooded by spam.

this forum has been designed to best protect the members from intrusion.

The new forum that should be running in the next few months will be a vast improvement so I will hold of until then

where do i find a copy of the sent PM messages to delete them? cause i cant find a folder or anything with them in?

Hello Bones,
Go into the first PM Screen. On the right had side,halfway down you should see a box that say's "Jump to Folder".
Click on the arrow and a screen should scrool down showing "INBOX", SENT ITEMS" & PM TRACKING.
Just click on the sent items & it chould take you into the list you need to delete. Then Try the same on PM tracking & check there as well.

Hello Martin,
Good to see another transport enginner on the site, its about time we had some more posts in the mobile section.
Colin Lacey, Best training instructor ever no longer runs Smart.
I never got the full story but i think they went out of business when someone they supplied units too never paid up.
Anyway good news is he it still in the business, no longer training but now the UK & Ireland service manager for a Refrigeraion company in Huntingdon. I must admit i havn't seen/spoke to him since he was at Smart.
You couldn't have had a better start in the industry if he took your'e first course. I done 3 courses up there any all of them were excellent (certainly better than the one's at MTK Cambridge)

Are you still working on transport side or are you like a lot of us and gone over to the commercial side.
