When doing leakage detect using bubble test method, Gas nitrogen should be added in higher pressure. If the leakage is very small, and lower pressure is not enough to get bubble. But I heard some compressor has the limitation of max. pressure is 150 psi. Is it true ? why ?

Yes it may be true.

The compressor manufacturer will specify the test pressure for their equipment.

If you over-pressure a compressor you may blow out the electrical terminals (most likely) or worse explode the casing (least likely).

i may be wrong here but as i understand it a strength test should 1.3 times the systems max working pressure and a pressure test 1.1 times

You are correct but this can have parts excluded I believe.

I am thinking more of semi-hermetics and chillers which often have two different levels of test pressure.

(Mind you, I could be wrong ;))
