Hi guys,
block ice plant design requires good understandings of the process.

you need to layout the ice can & how the overhead cranes should works to hoist.

the I-beam supports & its cantilever positions determines most of your tank dimensions.

you also need to decide your ice block's weight for the height of the tank.

Also, how you want the tank to be build.

good luck!!!!:D

We have different type of cans 15 kg. 25 Kg. 50 Kg. and each one of that has 2 or 3 size
For example 25 Kg.
10 Ton/24h
1000/2 =5000 kg/12h
5000/25kg. =200 cans
Each can = 22mm X 22mm X 1250mm
12 cans in one line So 12 X 18 = 216 cans
And….
mail to me I will send you copy of calculation .

Slightly of subject, what do you use a 10Tonne block of ice for? Is just for transport, then broken into smaller amounts else where?

I have personally bought a 10ton/24 hour Block ice plant from Zahra Company that manufactures block ice plants and is based in Lebanon. The quality is as high as the ones I observe in the U.S as there quality is 100% satisfactory and the ice machine parts are all imports from germany and USA.

As for the size it was a 25kg block ice and awesome American design for a great value price .

zahraice.com/home.htmlI found them on here :
Hope this helps , they also have catalogs of the design on there website .
