hi engineer,did your ever come across condensing with reciver feeding to evaporator without using(tev),dont you think it work condensing is far away 6m.:rolleyes:

Yes, almost all household refrigerators and many air conditioners don't have, or should have said, used not to have expansion valve.

You can use cap tubes or fixed orifice or automatic expansion valves or manual valves or ...

The strange thing is having a receiver! Are you sure that's what it is?

Receivers are used to prevent condenser flooding under varying load but fixed orifices and cap tubes are used for constant load, so this mixture is strange.

Check if the receiver is really a receiver. Sometimes you get encapsulated cap tubes to prevent leaks if they break. It could look like a receiver...
