Hey guys.
I was doing some end user visits and some questions came up about the Turbocor compressor and its possible use in a industrial or arena application.
This was the very first I have heard of this compressor. After doing some net research I can only find this turbine in HVAC.
Usually turbines or centrifugals operate at a low compression ratio, therefore to use one of these in a lower temp app would you not have to put it into a cascade design?
Any info you guys can provide would be great. I would love some from the street info on this machine
Even if it is all good

Nice thread but zero about appling the turbocor to an industrial app.

I hear rumors about them trying to put these in a arena app.

They state variable load can be an issue. Well Arena is a pretty variable load.
