Hi All,
Im currently working on a Sanyo Eco-I series. Three different refrigerant circuits. All three have ran fine for six months. Had power outage problems last week. Upon power being applied fault code E-16 ( Too Many Indoor) I dis-connected link wiring between refrigerant circuits and auto addressed first system...No problem ran fine..Second and third system not good...Fault E-20 ( No Indoors connected ) Checked all Indoor units..all have power..Checked all wiring and found good and connected at all Indoor units...Just for fun I ran two wires to my first Indoor unit and tried to auto address for one Indoor unit only...same result..E-20.

Two things I thought of after I left. The factory has a factory jumper and basicly weakens the communication between Indoor and Outdoor ( CN033 ) I think. Factory setting is for short and they were at open. Also the other technician tried to auto address with all link wiring connected. I think thats why he could get the first system up and not the other two. Anybody have some ideas? I need it...lol..

Well, we finally got the systems up. I turned all power off on all Indoors and Outdoor units. Moved pin CN033 to shorted poisition ( Factory Setting ) and re-applied power, auto addressed and off it went. Right or wrong its running. I was glad to leave from there ..LOL...
