Hi Guys,

We are currently getting trained guys in to install our split systems, as advised here, until I feel confident and have appropriate training. I have watched one guy test, vac and looks OK. What I need is a newbie book for me to study in the evenings telling me how to attach and disconnect the gauge manifold without loss and all other basics. Would be good to include refrigeration basics in the book as well! My problem is I tend to forget things easily unless I ingrain it. I will be booking up onto some courses when I can get them to pay, but until then the pro's will be doing it.

Appreciate your patience guys,

S

By the way, I have complete my safe handling course, which was good, though some time ago now and the manual does really backup what was learnt in the class, hence forgotten :(

I think that it is time for you to visit your local library and check out the "technical" section.

Find any of the books on refrigeration and have a look inside them.

Have you had a look through the "Refrigeration Books" section on here yet?

Take care

I think the trouble is that 'newbie' books only exist inside the colleges etc.

The main books go straight into the whys and wherefores....
