dear experts;
Is there any real possibility damage in compressors are controled their capacity by using unloader on headcylinder?somones expriences realize that difference life would happen between compressors with &without these unlouders is significant.

thanks for a comprehensive note.

Hi pireistani:)
unloading of compressors (reciprocating) is carried out by various means, suction trottling, hot gas bypass or suction valve lifing. The first two are used on comercial type equipment, the latter on Industrial type compressor, the first two can overheat compressors after an extended period of time the latter will not cause any overheating. It is better to size the plant to match the load by multiple compressors, if you wish to run with small loads in any case.
Kind Regards. Andy:)
