I have a similar problem to a previous thread where, the freezer no longer works and the fridge is freezing everything in it, I know that the previous thread had many suggestions but nothing definative, I don't really want to fork out for a new board at £90 if that is not the problem any help appreciated

I'm not familiar with the make or model but it could be an airflow problem.

Some of these fridges have a thermostatically controlled damper controlling the air flow to the fridge. If this was wide open it would cause stuff to freeze in your fridge and a possible higher temp in your freezer.

It is unusual however for it to fail open...

Just a thought...

Some fridge-freezers have a magnetic valves that control the flow of refrigerant through the systems.
If the fridge is working but the freezer is not and it has one compressor then I could suggest that the valve or control to the valve for the freezer is not working (if it is that type).

Other than that you may have to pay for an engineer to look at it.

Please be more specific, is the fridge a no frost ,one compressor or two electronic thermostat or mechanical.
