Hello! Guys!
In Dossat Book, He told about superheat with good working refrigerating and without!
Who knows what does it mean!?
Thank you!

Great find Nike! ;)
Many manufactuirers have good articles but they can be a hassle to find.

I agree with most of Tinyurl's content, but subcooling and superheat definitios are outdated, and wrong for zeotropic or near azeotropic refrigerants like R410a, R407c, R404a ... I SUGGEST: Superheat=temperature difference measured by a thermometer on the pipe minus dew point temperature at the pressure of the refrigerant in the pipe, provided they are taken in close proximity, almost simultaneously and the pipe and thermometer are thermally insulated from ambient for at least 5 pipe diameters up and downstream. Subcooling=temperature difference between bubble point temperature at the pressure in the pipe minus temperature of a thermometer on the pipe, provided they are taken in close proximity, almost simultaneously and the pipe and thermometer are thermally insulated from ambient for at least 5 pipe diameters up and downstream.
I know these are not perfect but following them will make field data make more sense and encourage these measurements.

Hi
Ok so I am working on a 407c system my suction pressure is 3.5 bar and the suction pipe is 14oC there is a high load on the evaporator but its about 22oC outside so what’s the superheat? Me thinks I need to add some gas…
Hope you can help I need it what’s up with a big sticker with the charge weight…
As you can see I am winging it
