hi everyone,im working on a daikin rxs35e2v1b unit, which runs on 410a.the problem im having is even with the correct amount of gas,im getting very little cooling comming back on the sunction, and no discharge temp at all.this is happening on cooling.when its heating everything is ok.pressures ok,temps ok,everything ok.
has anybody had the same problem, and if so how did they go about sorting it.

cheers

It looks like no return valve is stuck open!
Check temperatures of pipes around non return valves!

thanks for getting back, but there is temp round the rv.

Just to clarify,

When you say "no discharge temp at all"...
Where is it measured and what is the temperature?

If you give us pressures and temperatures, then our guesses will become more accurate.

Good luck,

i didnt get a temp reading as the shop was closing, but i couldnt feel any temp in condonsor coil,or discharge from compresser.this only happenend on cooling,on heating everything seemed fine

I don't understand your sentence!
Do you refer that rv is reversing valve or non return valve!
Also, you say that there is temperature round the rv but what that mean?
Does that mean that you have different temperatures (corresponding to system pressures) at sides of non return valve

sorry i meant reversing valve, and i wasnt getting any temp differnce round the reversing valve

try changing from heating to cooling and tap the four way reversing valve with a hammer to see if it frees it up

Sorry me! I was thinking on something else!
Still, concentrate at reversing valve problem!
