Hi,

We had a customer ring up saying his system was down so we got a fault code of A5 and sent an engineer out who turned the sytem off and on again and it started working again with no fault code few days later the customers on the phone agin saying its not working again and this time we get an error code of UH which i believe is 'system error, refrigeration sytem set-up'. Can anyone give me any ideas on what might be the cause?

Thanks

A quick site search found this page http://www.refrigeration-engineer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2588&highlight=daikin+fault+codes

More specifically this .PDF

Maybe that will shed some light on your situation, abnormal gas temps(A5 fault) and possible overcharge(UF fault).
Without you giving us all the ambient temps, air on/off temps, pressures, pipe temps etc, no one will know the problem

Sounds to me like there is a mix up between the piping and wiring to the indoor units ie indoor A wired to indoor B. When the system was installed the system should have been put through its test by holding down BS3 on the outdoor. Part of this test picks up if the indoors a wired to the correctly piped unit. If not it re-programmes itself to sort this out. Im sure that if there is power failure then the system will loss its memory.

Start up each unit one at a time and make sure you get refrigerant through it. If not sort out the wiring and for a quick fix put it trough its test again.
