Hi All,
Recently on a service call to a domestic A/C unit the customer asked me to look at their Fridge Freezer, unfortunately I didnt really have the time to have an in-depth look plus I've never worked on a domestic (apart from williams')
The customer said the fridge compartment is freezing everything and pulled out a block of frozen carrots to prove it!
the thermistat is set to the highest temp it can go so im wondering whether its the stat or the probes but I dont know where these are located and dont want to start ripping it apart on my search for them!
any help would be appreciated,
cheers guys (and gals?)

The thermostat controls the freezer, not the fridge. The fridge is controlled by air ducting, with -18C freezer air.
If the air damper doesn't close off, you'll get too much freezer air in the fridge.
Causes are faulty duct thermostat or just stuck open damper (iced up).
