Hi Guys!

Can anybody let me know the difference between the Danfoss N series and NM series Expansion Valves? Which will be the most suitable series valve I could install into a Glycol freezer plate that evapoartes at -40 deg C.

Hi Suny

N = -40 to +10oc

NM = -40 to -5oC

This is the temperature operating range.

Also consider selecting a valve with MOP to prevent excessive compressor load.
