in a project i called from his owner i found the following:confused:
first the defrost is working as 3.5hr working and .5 defrost but the labours erase the ice from it every 3 days because its insuffiency
the liquid line is about 20 m lenth and the diffrent of elevasion of machines and evaporator is 5m!
the system is hotgas but its insulated with the suction line to prevail liquid in suction but the hot gas is just warm not hot
my consideration is to insulate the line individualy and propre suction accumulator is required and the machines should be closer
but the last one was impossible to the owner due to some consideration to him
to our moderator what iam doing is good
any thing else to do
and is there a some wrong may be in evaporator selection altough it had no label to know its capacity
the room is -18 for srawberry
lp 30 hp 270
the machine is 2 bitzer 6f 25
best regards;)

Hello jumanje13

Let's see if we have this right...

^ Strawberry Freezer: -18*C
^ Six - thirty minute Hot gas defrost cycles/day.
^ Defrost is not working and evap needs to be manually thawed.
^ The refrigerant lines are insulated together and you want to separate them as well as add a suction accumulator.
(Quote) "my consideration is to insulate the line individualy and propre suction accumulator is required"
^ You suspect that if the units were closer, the hot gas might work better, but the customer doesn't agree.
^ The refrigerant pressures are 30 & 270. Is that PSIG or other? What is the type of refrigerant?
^ Equipment info? (Quote) "the machine is 2 bitzer 6f 25"

And you want ideas of how to make this system work better.
Did I understand your post correctly?

What are the pressures during defrost?
Is there a back pressure valve to raise the pressure in the eveporator during defrost?
Is it a single unit or several evaporators on one compressor pack?

Why did you post in "Hall of shame" ??

The pressures and gas temp during defrost would go a long way to helping us answer your questions ;)
