Hi All,

What is the maximum unaided support heights for 150mm and 200mm thick Polyurethane insulated panel (for a freezer application).

The freezer I have is 13meter clear internal height.

Thanks

If you are using lockable panels, you can install them without any support. But if those are panels without locks. you shall need atleast Two supports in vertical for the wall panels. There are various ways of supporting them. May be I can send you the drawing for that on your mail.

Hi samian,

a general guide will be -

150mm panel max vertical height -30 deg application 10 meters.

200mm panek max vertical height -30 deg application 12.8 meters.

although it is always best to consult with the panel manufacturer.

Yes we too have similar heights with lockable panels.
But with no cam locks, we are providing supports for the wall panels.

Dear friends
The vertical supports also depend upon the panels location.
If the panel is faced to outside you should consider the wind force

Dear friend

The floor will also affect the vertical support. If the cold room is not properly insulated on the floor, the floor will give way. Due to super dry concrete (that is provided if it is concrete used)
