Dear All,

Just a quick response to the first reply by rbartlett which up till Dec 09 would have been fine back in 2003.

However I no longer work for Toshiba Air Conditioning. So don't use that e-mail address.

I'd suggest anyone needing Toshiba compressor information should contact the Toshiba representative in their country first.

Cheers

Is there a historian on the forum that could explain the history of Toshiba hermetic A/C compressor design and manufacturing? Why is it so difficult to find design information on their products? Appears all the manufacturing is done in other countries by other companies, is this right?

Like most manufacturers I suspect, the same the world over and with other products too.
