Not Bad! I just finished installing one. An APC rep. came down to start up in order for (customer) to have the warranty granted.They went over all my pipe work to make sure it was satisfactory. It was.
Quite the piece of equipment. Completly computerized! Even has its own IP address.
I'm not sure how many tonns of a/c though.
its says 29kw. I'm not sure how BTU'S that is, let alone tonns. 12,000btu's = 1 tonn of a/c right?
Anyway its great so far! everyone loves it and it blends in with the other server racks.(especially those computer boys).

29kW = 99040.19 BTU/hr =~ 8.253 TR

i m working on data center & equipment cooling systems from last five years.
APC system works on advance technology of cooling
Inrow,Hot air containment system,Rack air containment system,hot air removal system & many others.
Liebert work on perimeter cooling & supplimental cooling either but not so effective in terms of server rack cooling as well as in energy conservation & automatics.
In APC cooling product you can control all the things by computer.Moreover look of the ac is just like UPS system or server rack.APC certified engineer should have a laptop & converto cards in his tool kit.Laptop is essential for fault diagnostic at site.
However,product is costlier than any other products stulz,liebert or bluestar because of its high reliability & great features.

Hey bert,for ur knowledge the system u have seen is InrowRP,this system has a nominal cooling capacity of 29KW but same system can give the output of 35KW if we change the mode fromInrow to Hot air containment systemfor this we require some cabinets only.Also we want to add new features only firmware updates is required to be done through laptop.
Really it is genX system..

Hi can you explain how DX INROWRP can achieve a 35 KW of o/p cooling capacity while in a Hot Isle Containment System.

We are also working on a back-rear cooling-door, which is going to replace and render all alternative cooling for datacom obsolete, by all means of performance and energy saving, and cooling capacities up to 80kW per rack.
