CO2 precooler

I´m doing my investigation projet and I need to get a precooler bakery to cool C02 before the condenser. It´s a small one (2Kw).

Do you know any provider or maker? France if possible

Why do you need to cool the CO2 before it reaches the condenser which is going to cool it anyway?

more info please, are you talking transcritical as in a gas cooler or desuperheating of subcritical CO2?
