I have acquired a Fujitsu a/c, indoor model number ASY12RGF-W and outdoor model number AOY12RGSF.

However there is no wiring information with it.

What I want to know is how to wire the indoor to the outdoor, and where to wire power to, i.e. which terminals.

Both indoor and outdoor have terminals marked 1,2,3 and 4.

Can anybody help please? :(

hi tony and frank
To elaborate on franks info:)the interconnecting wiring for ASY 7/9/12/14/17.

1)neutral.
2)compressor control .
3)solenoid/4way valve.
4)condenser fan motor.

The ASY denotes its a wall mount, and if i remember correctly, the power supply is fed to the inside unit (AHU),then outside via a five core ie four cores and earth.Or fed vice versa.

hope this helps:)

hi mark,
the best way to avoid any mistakes with split air-conditioners, always follow the numbers, they have to be the same inside and out.
we have here one large manufacturer that uses 9!!! wires- three speed outside fan, contactors, heatpump and control for inside fan for automatic defrost.
I find it easier to remember colours.
