Just wondering how many posts you need to make before you can send or recieve PM's. I want to PM someone with only 2 posts and the option does not appear to be there, is this correct and how many are required?

15 I think, but he need to enable that option after that.
You could send him e-mail by downloading his v-card (there is his e-mail address) from his profile page.
