Does anybody have any information on Freeze Dryer manufacturers or their workings.

worked on two freeze driers in last year or so, 1 was like a steel container with refrigerant lines up inside it, the other was like a cabnet, whats the question u have?

Techni,

Freeze Driers- Worked on them at BioRad, Gentech, and Collegen. I don't know much with the exception that the Cooling is usually primary to secondary coolant like lexol (low temp stuff) hooked to a freeze Plate which is designed to protect the vaccum pumps. The ones I worked with (it's been 10 years) were not self contained. So the refrigeration was in another room and each system varied.
