I'm Doug... I live/work in North Carolina (Charlotte area). I've been working in the industry for almost 21 years. I've had about 15 years of installation experience, followed by a mix of trim work, change outs, and some gas piping... for the last six years I've been doing some basic service (trained on-the-job and some classroom/seminar training) and trim/prestart (wiring, condenser/evaporator piping/installation) as well as warranty work. The company I work for does high-end residential new construction and replacements. We work with a lot of zone systems, humidifiers, IAQ setups, dual-fuel systems, and fresh air systems. I found this forum in an effort to learn more at home. I'm looking forward to picking up up a lot of knowledge and theory here and I hope that along the way I can contribute something as well.
