I have a Sanyo SAP-KR224EH and SAP-CR224EH Split system
It has developed a fault the unit works wonderful in heat but when you switch to cool the compressor will fire up for about 2 mins then stop and the fan on the wall unit slows right down when the compressor stops
I thought it was a leak at first had it all checked and regassed but still no joy
Please any help would be much appreciated

Mike

If you look at this snap from the manual, you will see that it's not supposed to work in cooling below 19C ambient..

Sorry

HI

The Viking is correct common problem these units being
Frost protection on indoor PCB causing compressor to stop due to unit over condensing.

Fit a fan speed controller with a relay to bypass it when the 4 way valve energises. This is how we over come this problem in IRL.

Hope this helps
