hi everbody,
I need to know burst pressure standart for R410A to use correct connection pipe especially for AL-CU connection pipe.
I have made burst pressure test for 1/4 and 3/8 al-cu connection pipe.
test result:
burst pressure of 1/4" copper-aluminum 26 Mpa
burst pressure of 3/8" copper-aluminum 20.5 Mpa

problem is to know whether these pipes are suitable or not ???

nike 123 ???

If it is me, I would first ask myself few questions?
How much one will save annually with using that pipe instead of copper pipe?
Are they available pre-insulated with UV resistant insulation as copper pipe?
Does working with them require same tools and techniques as with copper tubes?
Are their inner walls clean enough for that purpose?
Does oils and refrigerants in systems chemically reacts with aluminum?
Why all refrigeration industry doesn't shifted to Al Cu tubes if they are cheaper and they satisfy all requirements of industry?

From what You are said, I have (wrongly) impression that is for one time use for installing split system.:o

I want to use for domestic air conditioner.
why because it is cheaper than copper pipeIt is not in plural, and that is why is my first comment posted!
After you clarify that, I see that I am wrong.
Maybe here you could find your answers (page 12).
It is " Copper Tube Handbook" of 6,8 Mb.
