Hi,

I want to post a warning about a dodgy company/sole trader who are rogue traders.....

....they build up debts, lie about repayment, make false re-payment promises to debt collectors & credit agencies & then do a flit before returning to steal & cheat from more honest folks with a new website and another address borrowed from one of their own un-suspecting customers!!

Obvioulsy, there would be little point in posting this warning unless I were allowed to name the company involved.

FYI: The offending company details and debt risk etc. are already openly listed on a public access, credit-risk "hall of shame" website.

With this in mind, Can I warn the good honest engineers & traders on this forum by quoting from, or linking to, the hall of shame website?

Thought I better ask first:D

Cheers,

I would have to ask - do you have evidence that is in the public domain about this company and your claimed offences ?

Have they given you or your firm problems?

How reliable is the "Hall of shame" website that you refer to?

Its defo in the public domain....no question.
The "Hall of shame" is on the website of a fully listed & approved UK Credit reference agency.

The site also states that the details are passed on to the credit information industry in general.

A case file full of evidence & supporting documentation is now held by the credit ref. co.

The individual/"company" has just re-surfaced in the UK, probably planning a similar "venture".
