Hello all My first time here:cool: . I am planning to build a small camping trailer ( Teardrop ) and I would like to put a small window shaker in it. With space very limited I was wondering :confused:if it would be alright to stand on end ,I will have to make up something for the drain I know .

No, the compressor can't run on it's side.
There are units made to be narrow, odd shapes etc, so it's just a mtter of finding the right style and dimensions.

Fit an inverter split, condensing unit on roof with a suitable generator preferably Honda Suitcase type then you can get comfort cooling 24/7
