Hi Big John and welcome to RE. Did you work for ABBAR TK dealer or Carrier in Saudi ? You must have known Harry Moran, Tommy Fox and Willie Cusack during your time in mid East.
Did you work for Marshall TK in UK before? There are a few guys on this forum from there. There was a Bob King, Pete Whitbread , Allan Sadler amongst others there in the '80's. I believe Allan still there.

Greetings Big John,

I have over 15 years in the transport refrigeration industry, I worked for tk dealer in the us for more than 12 years and recently broke off on my own.

I also look forward to chat with other transport temperature control specialists in our field.

Hi again John,
Harry, Wilie, Tommy, Larry B - we all worked together in our early yrs at the Galway plant.
Marshalls- spent some time there too. Many's the day up & down the M11 from London.
Down to Dover on midnight runs, sorting out SB 1 -1500's before they caught the ferry to continent .... oh yes, those were the days.
Galbani's, Chesswoods, LBBA, Ronnie Gander in Sussex, Dunton Green ( now West Kent Cold Storage). yep ..... happy days and nights indeed, looking back! ;)
Mid East I know well, done stints there - Baghdad, Amman and Dubai.
Larry B, Andy W , Tariq and now Paul mcG are/were all colleagues - PD also at RTS too is a good pal. Malek at Abbar I met years ago. :D

Happy Christmas all,
T-P

Actually its good money here and not alot of work, The market here for private service on TRU is something that is not really found here and customers like an honest alternative approach to a dealer dictating everything.
