Such thing as a rental Dehumidifier?

Does anyone know of any companies that rent out dehumidifying units/inline dryers? Is there such a thing or am I going to be stuck buying one?

I need to dry air to between -4F and -22F dewpoint at a flow rate of 1 lb/sec, with very low or no pressure drop. I know that there are dryers for compressed air but this is not a compressed air application.

Ducting size would be between 10" to 14" diameter.

I am looking for a company preferably in the Toronto, Ontario area.

I really have no clue when it comes to this stuff as it's not my field of expertise.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi in UK You can hire dehumidifiers from any of the larger plant hire companies.
The construction Industry uses them to dry out new plasterwork.
Or where basements have been "Tanked" ( waterproofed with render / plaster).
I asume you would have something similar in Canada.
As to what capacity of unit is available I don't know.
So my suggestion is get on the phone to your nearest plant hire suppliers.

Im pretty sure Munters specialise in dehum - dessicant, they do in aus anyway and I think they are a worldwide company.

There are plenty of companies who hire dehumidifers but this application is not a standard one. As you require to dry air at sub zero temperatures a refrigerant type dehumidifer is not applicable.

As noted Munters a Swedish company or DST Seibu Giken another Swidish firm manufacture desiccant Dehumidiers. But these will not be for hire only for sale!

It will be hard to find a company that will hire this type of machine.

Hi just a quick email I guess you are sorted now, but I am a manager for Munters in the UK and we do rent out dessicant dehumidification worldwide through our international spread of depots for short or long term hires. We also rent out chillers, heaters, boilers and moisture measurement services.
