Hello everybody,
This is my first message. I live in Estonia.
I have a question concerning pumping blended gases from rolldrums. They contain about 800kg of refrigerant. While I pump a liquid refrigerant, the proportion of blended gases remains accurate. But after pumping all the liquid gas there still remains quite much refrigerant as a gas. My question is: will the proportion of blended gases remain accurate when I suck the rolldrum empty with a recovery unit.

hi bud welcome to this great site,no it woulden't due to the mixture of the gases in the liquid so I would not really go with the vapor also, it would be fine if is it is being placed with the liquid in the same canester cheers

So long as you are putting the whole container in one system then there is no problem, When you are half way through a 800kg container then even the liquid you are drawing off is not 100% pure because it is constantly boiling off inside the container to fill the space where the liquid you draw off was.
